Job summary

Q Casino & Resort in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Experienced Part-Time Bartender to deliver elevated beverages and hospitality. You will craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision, while maintaining a fast-paced, guest-centric bar.

You will work with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure every drink meets presentation standards, handle POS transactions, and participate in ongoing training to expand beverage knowledge and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Formal education is not required.
Relevant food and beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience: Welcome guests warmly and provide recommendations.
Beverage Preparation: Mix cocktails, pour wine, beer, and other beverages to spec.
Bar Operations: Set up/break down bar, stock supplies, maintain cleanliness.
Product Knowledge: Learn signature and classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and pairings.
Service Standards: Follow hospitality steps, verify IDs, and ensure responsible service.
Teamwork: Communicate with servers, hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff.
Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain sanitary workstation and follow safety procedures.
Professional Expectations: Dress and behave professionally, pursue beverage knowledge.
