Job summary

1UP Entertainment + Social in Tampa, FL invites experienced bartenders to join our energetic venue. We seek pros who can pour quickly, read a room, and bring fun to the service floor across two bars and an upscale scratch kitchen.

You’ll handle cocktails, beer, and wine, while also serving dining tables when needed. Expect events-heavy schedules, high-volume shifts, and opportunities to advance into lead bartender, bar manager, and beverage director roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Working knowledge of craft cocktails, local and specialty beers.
• Great attitude, integrity, and team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and serve drinks fast and accurately.
• Take and serve dining tables in your section when needed.
• Work events and late-night programs as scheduled or needed.
• Know the menu well and keep tables and bar tops clean.
• Ring tabs accurately in the POS and process transactions quickly.
• Wipe and sanitize bar tops and service areas every 30 minutes.
• Handle open and close duties with attention to detail.
• Read the room and follow alcohol awareness procedures.

We're not a quiet neighborhood bar, and that's the point. We're hiring experienced bartenders who can pour fast, read a room, and have fun doing it. Bonus: our bartenders take dining tables too - more sections, more tips, more upside.

What you'll do

• Build and serve drinks fast and accurately - cocktails, beer, wine, and our growing menu - while running food and tabs for your section.
• Take and serve dining tables in your section when needed - full guest experience from greet to close.
• Work events and late-night programs (Latin Night, private events, holiday programming) as scheduled or needed - these are our highest-volume, highest-tip shifts.
• Know the menu cold. Make recommendations, anticipate guest needs, and keep tables and bar tops clean and refreshed.
• Ring tabs accurately in the POS and process transactions quickly. No walked checks.
• Wipe and sanitize bar tops and service areas every 30 minutes. Stock, restock, and maintain the bar, beer cooler, and liquor storage.
• Handle open and close duties with attention to detail - daily prep, par stocking, and end-of-shift cleaning.
• Read the room. Follow alcohol awareness procedures and flag any concerning guest behavior to management immediately.
• Work in rotation with other bartenders and servers - harmony, not territory.

What we need

• 2+ years bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.

• Good communication skills with guests, the floor, and management.
• Cool-headed under pressure with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Comfortable serving dining tables alongside bar service.
• Available to work events and late-night programs (Latin Night, private events) as scheduled or needed.
• Available late nights, weekends, and holidays, and willing to pick up extra shifts as needed.
• Stand and move for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, work hot/cold conditions.*
• Age 21+. Florida Responsible Vendor / alcohol awareness certification (or willing to get one).
