Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles to dealership standards.
• Repair orders must be completed accurately and on time.
• Ability to road test vehicles and document results.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as an automotive technician outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunction and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by customer.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Communicates with service advisor if additional work is needed or not needed.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
