Job Description

Lou's Auto Repairs is a trusted and well-established auto repair shop, dedicated to providing high-quality service to our customers. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key player in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle systems, including alignment, front-end mechanics, and general service. We are looking for Strong A and B-level Technicians with expertise in computer diagnostics and a focus on quality service. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance services on vehicles including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, suspensions, electrical systems, and other automotive components
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure quality control
• Use hand tools and specialized equipment for general repairs and fabricating
• Provide detailed, accurate assessments of vehicle issues and communicate clearly with customers
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive repair
• Must have own tools
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, suspension, alignment, and brake systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills
• Solid attendance record with reliability and punctuality
• Positive attitude with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of $30-$35, pay is based on experience
