Job summary

Lithia & Driveway-backed Hamilton Honda is seeking experienced automotive technicians to perform repairs and diagnostics to factory and dealership standards. This full-time role requires strong mechanical skills, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to test drive and confirm repairs.

The position offers a competitive flat-rate pay structure ($25.00–$55.00 per hour) with incentives based on production and performance, plus a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician/ mechanic.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment; strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles efficiently and accurately per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and identify root causes of mechanical issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality control throughout the repair process.
• Test drive and verify repairs.
• Document labor time, inspections, and test results.
• Maintain personal tools and return specialty tools to designated locations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked; use shop materials responsibly.
• Deliver vehicles to customers in clean, professional condition.
• Complete required training and maintain ASE certifications.
• Collaborate with team members and report safety or operational concerns promptly.

What You’ll Do

• Vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.

Total Rewards

The flat rate range for this position is $25.00 to $55.00. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on production/productivity. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
