Covert Cadillac GMC Buick in Austin, TX, is seeking professional bumper-to-bumper service technicians for a high-volume, fast-paced shop. We offer a climate-controlled environment, pay plans, and bonus opportunities based on experience and productivity.

Qualifications include 2+ years of automotive repair, a valid driver's license, and GM/Ase certifications are a plus. We value a positive attitude, willingness to listen and learn, and a clean background with driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and warranty.

Job description

We are a high volume, fast paced automotive service facility looking for professional bumper to bumper service technicians. As one of the highest volume dealerships in Austin, we need motivated people looking to take their career to the next level. Family owned dealership established in 1909. We have an awesome working environment where everyone helps each other and enjoy coming to work. Having tools and training is a plus. Positive attitude and willingness to listen and learn is a must, clean background and driving record is needed as well. We have the most competitive pay plans and bonus programs in the area, and we never have a shortage of work. If you have GM training under your belt that is a big plus as well but not required coming in. Our shop is climate controlled to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter! Job duties involve but not limited to

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday thru Friday
• Saturday availability every 3rd

Experience

• Automotive repair: 2 years (Minimum requirement)

License/Certification

• Driver's License (Required)
