Job summary

Van Horn Automotive Group in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic to join a worker-owned team in a busy, state-of-the-art shop. This full-time role offers a relocation bonus and potential sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, with opportunities for industry training and career growth.

You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, cooperating with advisors to ensure top customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of automotive experience preferred.
• ASE Certification or Manufacturer Training is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, etc.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team to ensure vehicles leave the shop in optimal condition.
• Stay up-to-date with latest automotive technologies and training.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

What you'll do:

• Diagnosis, repair, and replacement of automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required License / Certifications:

• Valid / Active Driver’s license

Education and Experience:

• Three or more years’ automotive experience preferred
• Technical College Automotive Diploma preferred
• ASE Certification/Manufacturer Training preferred
