Job summary

Buchanan Kia in Westminster, MD is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles. You will collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to deliver top-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, test driving to verify repairs, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while staying current with automotive technology and repair

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive issues efficiently and accurately
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and assess vehicle performance
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
