Job summary

Kunes Auto Group in Illinois is hiring Experienced Automotive Technicians to join our rapidly growing Midwest team. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on new and used vehicles, and perform maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.

We offer up to $50 per hour flat rate based on experience, paid training with ASE reimbursement, a comprehensive benefits package, paid vacation, and daily pay options to access earnings before payday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an automotive service technician.
• OEM certifications required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Candidates provide their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles and identify mechanical or electrical issues
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine root causes
• Repair or replace parts such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations
• Ensure repairs are completed to high standards and timely
• Communicate with service manager and advise on needed repairs

What You'll Do:

• Perform thorough inspections of new/used vehicles and identify any mechanical or electrical issues
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of any issues
• Repair or replace parts as necessary, such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
• Communicate with the service manager and provide recommendations for any repairs or maintenance work that may be needed

Requirements
