Job summary

Modica Bros Tire Centers is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform tire installation, brake repair, alignment work, engine diagnostics, drivability checks, and routine maintenance across our Texas locations.

You will test drive vehicles before and after repairs, document findings, maintain shop equipment, and support the team in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment. A minimum of 5 years’ experience and own tools are required, with valid US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of automotive systems; PC-based diagnostic tools and digital inspections are a plus.
• 5+ years of automotive maintenance or repair; must have own tools.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and installation, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles and accurately document any findings.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment, including servicing portable fluid drains according to shop protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support shop operations and team success.

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you'll perform various automotive services, including tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostic, drivability, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance services. You'll be key to ensuring the success of daily operations at your location.

What You'll Be Doing

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
