Job summary

Hertrich Family of Dealerships in Delaware is seeking an experienced Ford Automotive Diesel Technician to join our busy, family-owned operation. You will diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems, perform inspections and maintenance, and communicate with Service Advisors to ensure quality repairs.

We offer a stable, five-day work week with Sundays off, along with competitive pay plans and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Diesel repair experience is required.
• Ford ASE certifications are strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a full set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes and emissions.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools safely and efficiently and complete repair orders.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and emissions
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies

What We're Looking For:

• Automotive diesel repair experience
• Ford ASE certifications strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
