Job summary

Lipscomb Dealerships in Elk City, OK is seeking a Lead Detailer to ensure every vehicle meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will train and assist other make-ready and detail techs, maintain inventory and order supplies, and act as liaison between department staff and sales managers to streamline the prep process for new and pre-owned vehicles.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–6pm and Saturdays 8am–2pm.

Qualifications

• 3 months of related experience and/or training is required.
• Ability to maintain dealership policy on client vehicle care.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist other make-ready and detail techs.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Note damage and notify service for claims within 24 hours.
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles.

Lead Detailer

Job Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between department staff and sales managers to facilitate the process for new and pre-owned vehicles
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
• Note damage and notify service so a claim can be filed within 24 hours
• Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles before being brought to frontline
• Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries
• Attend department meetings
