Mossy Automotive Group in Southern California seeks a dynamic Sales Consultant to join our growing team. You will sell New and Pre-Owned vehicles and products while achieving unit volume quotas, gross profit goals and client satisfaction objectives.

Employees in this position are mainly commission-based, with guaranteed base pay for non-sales work and rest periods. Average annual commissions range from approx. $60,000 to $120,000, with growth opportunities and paid training.

Qualifications

• High-energy personality and willingness to work flexible hours.

• Clean California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proven track record of meeting or beating sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily, weekly and monthly prospecting and sales goals.
• Build relationships and create lifelong customers by guiding vehicle selection.
• Demonstrate vehicles with knowledge of options and after-market products.
• Perform high-quality demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to generate referrals and return business.
• Overcome objections and comply with company, DMV and state/federal requirements.
• Report to Sales Manager on objectives and activity.
• Bring a positive attitude and close sales to maximize gross profit.

Responsibilities

• Establishing daily, weekly and monthly prospecting and sales goals, prioritizing and organizing work and productive results, and utilizing time effectively.
• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology and aftermarket products and services.
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations; complying with all company, DMV, state and federal requirements.
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
• Efficiently closing sales to attain optimal gross profit; properly computing financial aspects of sales transactions.
• Consistently follow up after sales to assure client satisfaction and opportunity for additional sales and more return purchase.
