Job summary

Gilder Search Group is representing a busy automotive repair shop in Grawn, MI seeking a motivated B-Level Technician who can perform repairs independently and grow their skills. The role offers a competitive compensation package and steady work with Monday–Friday hours.

You will work on brakes, suspensions, timing kits, and diagnostics across domestic and import vehicles, with opportunities for paid training, certifications, and a health stipend.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Michigan Mechanic Certified License required.
• Ability to complete jobs independently.
• Experience working on a wide range of vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE Certifications preferred.
• Professional, organized, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, timing kits, and general maintenance.
• Complete repairs from start to finish.
• Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Work on a variety of domestic and import vehicles.
• Write accurate repair notes and service recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Utilize shop software for inspections and estimates.
