Job summary

Express Associates in Belleville, IL is seekingExperienced Auto Mechanics and Engine Mechanics to join a growing team. You must have your own tools and be able to diagnose, repair and reassemble automobiles, including engines and transmissions. Diesel mechanics are encouraged to apply.

Duties include diagnosing issues, performing computerized and electronic diagnostics, interpreting codes, completing work orders, and inspecting for safety. Shift is Mon-Fri 8-5, up to $35/hr BOE.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Auto Mechanic and Engine Mechanic experience.
• Must have your own tools.
• ASE certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose operating difficulties on a variety of vehicles and perform engine checks.
• Perform computerized and electronic diagnostic tests using specialized equipment.
• Interpret trouble codes from scanners and test analyzers.
• Complete customer work orders and inspect vehicles for safety concerns.
• Oil/Filter changes and tire changes.
