G & C Auto Body in Chico, CA is seeking an Experienced Auto Body Paint Prepper to join our prep team. The role focuses on priming, blocking, and polishing vehicles to prepare for painting, with additional duties including jamming as needed.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30am to 5:00pm and an annual compensation target of $45,000–$60,000 with potential bonuses. We value reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality customer service.

• Experience in auto body prep or related role.

• Prime, block and polish cars.
• Assist painters and work with the prep team.

About the Paint Prepper position

• We are looking for a goal driven person that can work seamlessly with our painters.
• Paint preppers are responsible for priming, blocking and polishing cars.
• You may also be responsible for jamming.
• If you are able to do some painting that is a plus!
• Pay: $45,000 - 60,000/year expected annual compensation (applicable minimum hourly wage rate plus eligibility for variable production-based bonuses).
• Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch, possible additional overtime as assigned to support operations.
