Job summary

Swickard Auto Group's Audi Oakland location is seeking an experienced Audi technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory specifications. You will work with ODIS and OEM procedures, handling a full range of systems while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

We offer a competitive flat-rate pay structure of $40-$60/hr that reflects your Audi credentials, Master/ Master Guild status, and diagnostic depth, plus comprehensive benefits and ongoing training opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Audi dealership technician experience strongly preferred.
• Master or Master Guild status is a significant advantage and will be reflected in your rate.
• Strong diagnostic ability with complex multi-system Audi platform problems.
• ODIS diagnostic platform experience is required for effective Audi service work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Audi vehicles across engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, suspension, ADAS, MMI and more using OEM procedures.
• Execute repairs to Audi factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and no shortcuts.
• Document all work performed, diagnostic findings, and parts used with precision.
• Stay current on Audi service bulletins, software updates, and evolving repair procedures.
• Perform test drives to validate diagnoses and ensure repair quality before vehicle return.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to service advisors to support accurate guest communication.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose and repair Audi vehicles across a full range of systems -- engine, transmission, brakes, advanced electrical, suspension, ADAS, MMI, and beyond -- using ODIS and OEM diagnostic procedures
• Execute repairs to Audi factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and zero shortcuts
• Complete repair orders accurately -- documenting all work performed, diagnostic findings, and parts used with precision
• Stay current on Audi technical service bulletins, software updates, and evolving repair procedures
• Perform test drives to validate diagnostic conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return
• Communicate technical findings to service advisors clearly to support accurate guest communication and repair authorization
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation that reflects the standard of the Audi brand
• Contribute to a shop culture where diagnostic excellence, quality workmanship, and professionalism are the baseline

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Audi dealership technician experience strongly preferred -- Volkswagen experience also a strong plus
• Audi OEM certifications preferred -- Master or Master Guild status is a significant advantage and will be reflected in your rate
• Strong diagnostic ability -- comfortable working through complex, multi-system Audi platform problems with process and precision
• ODIS diagnostic platform experience -- required for effective Audi service work
• Consistent quality workmanship and a low comeback rate -- your standard doesn't require managing
• ASE certifications a strong plus
• Strong work ethic and professional reliability -- you show up, you produce, and your bay reflects your standard
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
