Job summary

Walbec Group in Wisconsin is seeking an Experienced Asphalt Roller Operator for the upcoming 2026 season. You will operate several paving machines, focusing on safety and efficiency while supporting diverse project sites across the Midwest.

This role requires punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of asphalt rolling experience, a driving license, and ideally a CDL.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of asphalt rolling operation experience.
• CDL is desired but not necessary.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Capable of working in variable weather and dusty/dirty environments.
• Union membership required or willingness to join; HR can assist.

The Position:

We're looking for an Experienced Asphalt Roller Operator for the upcoming 2026 season responsible for operating several types of paving equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, asphalt rollers.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of three to five years of previous work experience in asphalt rolling operation.
• A CDL is desired but not necessary.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required. Union membership is not required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is able to assist in that process as needed.
