The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paver experience, strong mat quality control, and the ability to read plans while coordinating with other crew members. This role requires safety focus and willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating asphalt pavers.
• Ability to read and interpret job plans.
• Strong mat quality and material flow understanding.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paver to place material to specified depth, width, and grade.
• Control speed and material flow to ensure a smooth, consistent mat.
• Coordinate with screed operators, roller operators, and truck drivers for efficient paving operations.
• Monitor head of material and overall paving conditions.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Adjust paver controls based on job specifications and site conditions.
• Maintain safety and awareness on site.
• Support crew members and assist with paving duties as needed.
