Hours & Compensation

We offer competitive and transparent pay, with an estimated annual salary range of $47,800 - $59,800, based on experience and performance. This role is also eligible for our annual incentive plan.

Role Overview

As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, supporting operations across three main areas:

• Patrolling the S&C Ridge Boulevard Industrial Campus
• Monitoring the Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Operating gatehouses

Key Responsibilities

• Draft detailed incident and activity reports with accuracy and clarity.
• Regulate traffic, prevent property loss, respond to emergencies including medical, fire, hazardous materials, unauthorized access, confined space rescues, severe weather, and evacuations. Certification in the use of self-contained breathing apparatus required.
• Monitor fire, alarm, high voltage, intrusion, and video systems from the SOC.
• Manage deliveries, shipments, and communications during off-hours at the gatehouse, including issuing badges and permits.
• Perform other security duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Illinois Driver’s License and Firearms Owner’s Identification Card.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Completion of the Illinois Security Officer 40-Hour Training Program for armed security.
• Ability to obtain Firearm Authorization Card (FAC) and PERC.
• Minimum 4 years security, law enforcement, or military experience; industrial security preferred.
