Job summary

Trade Management is seeking 3 experienced Apprentice Plumbers for a long-term commercial construction project in Midkiff, TX.

Qualified candidates must have hands-on copper sweat and PVC installation experience and understand commercial jobsite expectations, able to work alongside licensed journeymen.

Texas Apprentice Plumber Registration is required (subject to client confirmation). This assignment features 10-hour shifts and potential ongoing opportunities across Midland.

Qualifications

Location: Midkiff, TX

Positions Available: 3

Start Date: Late October / Early November 2026 (2–3 weeks)

Schedule: 10-hour workdays; days per week TBD

Assignment Duration: 1 year or longer

Position Overview

Trade Management is seeking 3 experienced Apprentice Plumbers for a long-term commercial construction project in Midkiff, TX.

Qualified candidates must have previous hands-on commercial plumbing installation experience, particularly with copper sweat and PVC piping systems. This is not an entry-level opportunity. We are looking for apprentices who understand commercial jobsite expectations and can contribute productively alongside licensed journeymen.

Additional commercial construction projects are anticipated in the Midland area, providing potential opportunities for continued employment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of commercial plumbing systems.

Perform copper sweat soldering and PVC piping installations.

Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and secure pipes and fittings as applicable.

Install piping supports, hangers, and related plumbing components.

Assist journeymen with plumbing installations according to project drawings.

Identify and prepare materials and tools required for installations.

Maintain quality workmanship and meet project schedules.

Follow jobsite safety standards and supervisor instructions.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience with copper sweat and PVC installations.

Cast iron pipe installation experience is a plus.

Familiarity with commercial plumbing layouts and blueprints.

Ability to use common plumbing hand and power tools.

Experience working alongside licensed Journeyman Plumbers on commercial projects.

Requirements

Proficiency in copper sweat and PVC installation.

Texas Apprentice Plumber Registration (subject to client confirmation).

Reliable transportation to the Midkiff, TX jobsite.

Ability to work 10-hour shifts.

Ability to take direction and work productively within a commercial plumbing crew.

Must successfully complete a client phone interview before placement.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive tasks.

Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to safely operate plumbing hand and power tools under appropriate supervision.
