Job summary

BG Staffing is hiring an Experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our team in Olathe, KS. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch and a pay rate of $18–$20 per hour.

Responsibilities include touring apartments, handling inquiries, processing applications, and ensuring a positive leasing experience for prospective residents. Occasional weekends may be required based on leasing needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of apartment leasing, property relations, or customer service experience.
• Sales and customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; property management software experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours and guide prospective residents through the leasing process.
• Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person leasing inquiries.
• Prepare lease agreements and process rental applications accurately.
• Maintain resident and prospect files with attention to detail.
• Provide exceptional customer service to support resident retention and lease renewals.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to help achieve occupancy goals.
• Ensure model apartments and common areas are tour-ready.
• Assist with community marketing initiatives, resident events, and outreach activities.
• Support daily office operations for a smooth leasing experience.
