Living Well Homes is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for our Kansas property. You will oversee routine and urgent repairs, ensure systems function correctly, and coordinate with residents and staff to address work orders promptly.

The ideal candidate has EPA certification, HVAC knowledge, at least 2 years of residential property maintenance, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to keep the building safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required for HVAC work and refrigerants.
• 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
• Plumbing, electrical wiring and carpentry skills preferred.
• Ability to maintain grounds and outdoor areas when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina for a full shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and urgent repairs to ensure building systems function properly.
• Fix leaks, water damage and restore water fixtures as needed.
• Repair electrical wiring issues and maintain HVAC equipment.
• Keep the building climate controlled and perform preventative maintenance.
• Address safety hazards and perform basic painting and repairs.
• Coordinate with residents and staff to handle work orders.

Job description:

Living Well Homes is seeking an experienced apartment Lead Maintenance Technician for our beautiful property's in Kansas. A Lead Maintenance Technician ensures that a facility remains in operating form with tasks varying day-to-day based on what is in need of attention at the time, but can frequently include work orders and repairs, aesthetic work or tending to the facility’s machinery.

Qualifications & Skills

• We need someone who is EPA certified and knows how to work on HVAC
• 2 or more years of residential property maintenance experience.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity
• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
• Grounds keeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
