Job summary

Brick City Metals in Ocala, FL is seeking a hands-on Fabricator to join our production team, welding and fabricating aluminum, steel and stainless components for platforms, stairs, rails and utility structures. You will read blueprints, set up and clamp parts, maintain a tidy, safe workspace and lift up to 50 lbs while contributing to on-site manufacturing for infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of prior experience in aluminum and steel welding/fabrication.
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
• Local to Ocala, FL area.

Responsibilities

• MIG Weld a variety of aluminum/steel components together to create or repair components.
• Set up, clamp, grind, or bolt materials into proper position prior to welding.
• Fabricate aluminum components.
• Reading and understanding blueprints required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocol.
