Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as an Access Control technician and locksmith.
• Experience with electronics, low voltage, networks, and card access systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of electrical systems for cameras, alarms, access control (Vanderbilt, Lenel).

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose access control systems and locks.
• Pin lock tumblers and configure key systems; complete maintenance schedules.
• Maintain records and security documents per MTA requirements.
• Run low voltage cabling and install wiring for access control and CCTV.
• Test systems and ensure compliance with safety and local codes.
