Job description

Experienced A or B Automotive Technician

Local automotive repair shop with a national name brand is currently seeking a full-time experienced Automotive Technician. We offer hourly wages and flat rate pay. We are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
• Tire repair and replacement
• Car heating and air conditioning systems
• Steering and suspension repairs
• Belt and hose replacements
• Radiator and engine cooling system repairs
• Battery, starting, and charging system repairs
• Brake system repairs
• Muffler and exhaust system services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications:

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team
• High personal productivity
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards
• Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus
• State-specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment; diagnostic scanner/tools preferred
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
