Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bridgeport, CT for an experienced Blanchard or surface grinder. The role involves setting up and operating Blanchard and/or surface grinding machines to achieve precise tolerances and finishes on a variety of steel materials and components. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting work orders and drawings, selecting proper grinding wheels and fixtures, inspecting parts using measurement tools, and documenting work performed to meet quality standards. The grinder will collaborate with team members to prioritize jobs, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support continuous improvement in grinding processes.
