Job summary

R.P. Marzilli & Company is seeking an experienced mason specializing in the construction of detailed chimneys and fireplaces.

This full-time role requires leadership of crew, strong knowledge of masonry, and the ability to read plans and perform material takeoffs. You will supervise a skilled team across multiple job sites in Massachusetts, coordinate with general contractors and project managers, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

Qualifications

• 3 year minimum of crew supervisory experience.
• Experience building fireplaces from start to finish including superstructures, hearths, fire boxes, flu’s, chimney caps and stone veneers.
• Knowledge of flat and vertical masonry, layout is preferred.
• Able to read plans and perform material takeoffs.
• Experience leading and mentoring crew; communicate with General Contractor, Site Supervisors, Project Managers.
