Experience Diesel Technician - University Park, IL

Join Carvana as an Experience Diesel Technician in University Park, IL. We are seeking motivated team players with at least 1 year of experience working with heavy equipment to ensure the maintenance and repair of our fleet.

Role and Benefits

• Accrue 104 hours of PTO in your first year

• Pay range: $24-$36 hourly
• $2500 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including brakes, steering, electrical, hydraulic, and tires
• Use welding and fabrication tools for repairs
• Maintain accurate repair records using company software
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot faults

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Heavy Class 8 Mechanical Industry or similar
• Valid Driver’s License
• Obtain two ASE Certifications within 6 months (sponsored by Carvana)
• Own tools required for daily tasks; specialty tools provided by Carvana
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 60 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions
• Effective communication skills and ability to multitask
