The Team:

The American Girl Retail team is integral in providing lifetime memories to American Girl fans and their families. Our experiential retail stores provide shopping destinations like no other. This requires Innovation, Collaboration,and Execution from all who are a part of this division. Our in-store experiences range depending on location from Girl and Doll Salons, Full-Service Restaurants, Personal Shopping, Ear Piercing (Girl and Doll), hosting Parties/Celebrations to name a few. Expect a dynamic and fast-paced role where you get to make decisions thatimpactthe team as well as our customers.

The Opportunity:

TheExperience Associate (Doll Hair Stylist) islocatedat the AG RetailFlagship Chicagolocation and reports directly to the Assistant Salon Manager. This positionis responsible fordelivering friendly and informative salon services,as well asthe flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Approach, acknowledge, andassistcustomers promptly.
• Execute styles for dolls successfully according to company standards anddemonstrateproper doll hair care and doll skin care techniques.
• Perform ear piercing services for girls and dolls.
• Training and certification will be provided to perform ear piercing services. Trained associates will follow ear piercing procedure checklist, complete waivers, and review After Care procedures with guests.
• Conduct inventory of salon supplies and stock salon area and communicate replenishment needs when needed.
• Participate in Salon events including Doll Hair and Manicure Day events, hair demos, and private birthday parties.
• Assistin other areas of the store as needed.
• Share product knowledge, answer questions, and suggestive upsell other Salon services and complementary products.
• Share information on store events, promotions, and activities with customers.
• Collaborate with co-workers to create a positive work environment andassistin training new associates.

WhatWe'reLooking For:

• Must be willing toworka flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must be willing to perform girl ear piercing services.
• Sales experience in the specialty retail or service industry preferred.
• Experience styling hair,especially fordolls, preferred.
• Experience working with childrenpreferred.
