Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking an Expense & Fund Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, treasury, and month-end close in Humble, TX. You will review expenses, process payments, manage AP, and assist with audits and reporting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years in expense accounting or treasury functions, ERP experience, and strong analytical skills. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years in expense accounting, AP, treasury/fund mgmt, or related function.
• Manufacturing or multinational corporate experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and online banking platforms.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP, reconciliations.
• LC, bond ledger management, or treasury operations experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to prepare clear financial reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and month-end deadlines.
• Strong cross-department communication skills.
• English required; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Review expenses for compliance and prepare accounting entries.
• Create and process online banking payment vouchers with proper approvals.
• Support accounts payable, supplier payments, confirmations, and interdepartmental communication.
• Review corporate credit card transactions and prepare monthly reports.
• Perform month-end bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain bank and treasury records and monthly reporting.
• Assist audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Prepare monthly expense analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain LC and bond-related ledgers and reporting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Treasury and others for timely processes.
• Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as needed.
