HEI Hotels & Resorts in Virginia Beach is seeking an Expeditor to ensure all food products are served to specification and standards. You will set up expo stations, coordinate with kitchen and servers, and maintain order accuracy and presentation throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders in expo window.
• Basic computer skills to read printed ticket orders.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up expo stations according to standards.
• Maintain station cleanliness & organization throughout shift.
• Ensure proper placement, presentation & delivery of food orders on trays.
• Inspect plates & product before it reaches the guest for order accuracy & presentation.
• Expedite service to ensure prompt and efficient delivery to guests.
• Maintain clear communication between kitchen and restaurant staff.
• Stock kitchen areas with china, flatware and glassware.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
