Benchmark Electronics Inc is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support material procurement, expediting, and process tracking in Minnesota. The role requires 0–2+ years of purchasing coordination, strong communication, and detail-oriented multitasking in a manufacturing environment.

The position is full-time, on-site in Winona, with standard weekday hours and a safety-conscious culture. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including a bonus plan and 401(k).

Summary: Perform expediting assignments required to follow-up the procurement, movement and processing of materials, supplies and equipment for an assigned department or business unit.

Responsibilities

• Follows up and expedites procurement of material through Procurement Department and support departments, etc. to ensure that orders are available on the required date
• Communicates daily, written and verbally, with vendors and internal buyers
• Maintains records, charts, graphs, logs and progress reports as required
• Assists in preparation of regular and special reports, inventories, etc. for both internal and external analysis
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
