Job summary

Airtech Advanced Materials Group in Huntington Beach, CA seeks a Warehouse/Material Handler to ensure a steady flow of materials for production and accurate movement of goods through the warehouse.

You will manage raw material delivery to machines, prepare labels, rotate inventory by FIFO, and perform safety procedures including lock out/tag out and forklift certification, contributing to a safe, efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers necessary raw materials to machines per production needs.
• Sets up computer systems so operators can print labels.
• Delivers finished goods to inventory.
• Ensures continuous processing of machines by maintaining material flow.
• Assists in moving materials from Extruder to inventory.
• Maintains FIFO inventory rotation.
• Performs lock out/tag out procedures on trailers and documents receipt of goods.
• Maintains forklift and lift lead certification in good standing.
• Notifies supervisor of potential safety hazards.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary

Ensures production equipment has a continuous stream of materials to process based on production schedule listed in computer. Ensures accurate transfer of materials through the warehouse as well as system scans.

Essential Functions

• Delivers necessary raw materials to machine based on needs of order being run at that time.
• Sets-up computer for operator to allow operator to print labels.
• Delivers finished goods to inventory.
• Ensures continuous processing of all machines with no down-time due to lack of raw material.
• Assists in processing materials from Extruder to inventory.
• Ensures proper rotation of inventory by pulling in FIFO order.
• Perform proper lock out/tag out procedures on trailers as well as acknowledging receipt of goods.
• Needs to maintain forklift and lift lead certification in good standing.
• Notifies supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
