Pinnacle South – Griffin, GA and Franklin, TN

Pinnacle South, a leading Full-Service FF&E Design, Procurement, and Installation company, is seeking FF&E job expeditor to join their established practice in Griffin GA and Franklin TN. This is an in-office and full-time position; Monday – Friday 8am -5pm.

Pinnacle South provides custom-tailored design solutions for high-end hotels. We can handle the design project from start to finish, which may include complete renovation and redesign of existing hotels or installation of newly built hotels from flooring and wall covering to window treatments and artwork.

As an Expeditor you will actively manage the procurement and delivery of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for a project, ensuring all items are ordered, delivered, and installed on time by coordinating with vendors, tracking order statuses, and resolving any potential delays or issues to maintain project timelines.

Key responsibilities of an FF&E job expeditor:

  • Order Management:
    • Create and submit purchase orders for FF&E items based on project specifications and design plans.
    • Monitor order status updates from vendors, including lead times and delivery dates.
    • Communicate with vendors to address any order discrepancies or delays.
  • Project Tracking:
    • Utilize project management software to track FF&E procurement progress.
    • Create and maintain detailed delivery schedules to ensure timely installation.
    • Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively address issues to maintain project deadlines.
  • Quality Control:
    • Verify that delivered FF&E items meet project specifications and quality standards.
    • Coordinate with the project team to address any quality concerns.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Regularly communicate with project managers, designers, contractors, and vendors regarding FF&E status updates.
    • Collaborate with the procurement team to source the best vendors and negotiate pricing.
    • Address any concerns or issues that may impact FF&E delivery and installation.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Arrange delivery logistics, including scheduling delivery windows and coordinating site access.
    • Manage the flow of FF&E items to the project site to ensure timely installation.
    • Resolve any shipping or delivery issues with vendors.
