Job summary

Amphenol Printed Circuit Board Technology is seeking a production planning professional to support Operations, Planning, and Production Control teams. The role emphasizes tracking work orders, identifying issues, escalating as needed, and ensuring timely completion to meet the production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor execution of work orders using Production Analysis, Daily Movement Reports, and Work Order Estimated Completion Report.
• Track on-time delivery to the manufacturing plan and resolve holds/aging orders promptly.
• Coordinate with management to resolve planning and production control issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on time and within customer specs.
• Provide daily production updates to key stakeholders and update MRP work orders on hold.

Job description

This position supports the Operations, Planning, and Production Control teams to achieve the production schedule by tracking work orders, identifying issues/solutions, and escalating as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Utilize Production Analysis, Daily Movement Reports, and Work Order Estimated Completion Report to monitor execution of work orders
• Track on time delivery to manufacturing plan.
• Track and ensure “On Hold” and “Aging” work orders are resolved quickly. Escalate if cannot be resolved in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with management in resolving planning and production control issues using appropriate protocol (team lead, production manager, etc).
• Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on time and within customer specifications.
• Track and communicate production updates daily to key stakeholders.
• Update MRP system work orders that go on hold for >1 day so that automated daily hold reports can be generated
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

• Three to five years related experience in supply chain/production planning in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong computer skills to include Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work cross functionally with many levels of an organization.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as under direction, must be highly motivated and well organized.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work standing for long periods.
• Excellent Computer Skills
• Excellent communication skills, both one to one and in a group setting
