This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, vendor management, or materials coordination who enjoy solving problems, building supplier relationships, and making an immediate impact.

In this role, you'll serve as the go-to resource for managing supplier follow-up, purchase order execution, material tracking, and issue resolution. You'll collaborate closely with Procurement, Planning, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure materials arrive on time and production remains uninterrupted.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working directly with suppliers, and take pride in finding solutions when challenges arise, this could be a strong next step in your supply chain career.

What You'll Do

  • Drive supplier follow-up and purchase order execution from issuance through delivery.

  • Proactively manage vendor acknowledgments and confirm commitments to meet project timelines.

  • Resolve material shortages, delays, incorrect shipments, backorders, and other supply chain disruptions.

  • Partner with Planning, Engineering, Operations, and Project teams to maintain schedule integrity.

  • Coordinate material priorities to support production and customer project deadlines.

  • Expedite critical orders and collaborate with suppliers to overcome logistical challenges.

  • Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records within company systems.

  • Monitor material availability and inventory levels to help prevent future shortages.

  • Escalate changes involving pricing, quantities, freight, lead times, or purchase order terms when needed.

  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding supplier performance and material status.

  • Develop strong supplier relationships while holding vendors accountable to commitments.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management, Materials Planning, or a related function.

  • Experience working with suppliers, purchase orders, inventory, or manufacturing operations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work with urgency and ownership in a fast-moving environment.

  • Proficiency with ERP, inventory, or purchasing systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Why Candidates Are Interested

  • Opportunity to grow into Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Planning, or Supply Chain leadership paths.

  • High visibility role with direct impact on operations and business performance.

  • Cross-functional exposure to Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Project Management teams.

  • Collaborative team environment where your contributions directly affect project success.

  • Growing manufacturing company with strong long-term stability and career advancement opportunities.

Culture & Values

Our client believes that great businesses are built on a foundation of faith, service, and excellence. Their culture emphasizes doing the right thing, serving customers at the highest level, and creating an environment where employees can thrive both professionally and personally.

In 2021, the organization made the intentional decision to close operations on Sundays, allowing all employees dedicated time for family, faith, rest, and personal priorities. While the company remains committed to exceptional customer service and 24/7 emergency support, leadership believes sustainable success comes from supporting its people first.

If you're looking for an opportunity to join a growing manufacturing organization that values purpose, accountability, teamwork, and long-term career development, we'd love to connect.
