We are looking for an experienced, professional line cook/expeditor to prepare food to Mike Anderson's exact specifications, set up stations for shifts, and assemble and package orders for service. Line cook duties will consist of assisting with their daily tasks. A great team member will play a key role in living true to our vision. An Expeditor is expected to be familiar with the entire menu and how it is made, and is directly responsible for assembling, garnishing, selling, and controlling the flow of orders in and out of the kitchen.

  9. We close at 10:00 PM Monday-Thursday, 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 PM on Sundays, so no late nights!

Here’s what we need:

  • An awesome smile and winning attitude.
  • A willingness to learn and be part of a winning team.
  • 1-2 years line cook and expo experience.
  • Ability to work holidays, weekends, and Sundays.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables and/or preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team.
  • Properly time orders and ensure they come out on time.
  • Expedite items by communicating with cooks and timing orders.
  • Package Togo orders and assemble in-house orders for service.
  • Plate and garnish items.
  • Assist managers in directing the "flow" of service.
  • Answer, report, and follow kitchen managers' instructions.
  • Clean up station.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members.

Skills:

  • Proven cooking experience.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with our industry’s best practices.
