Job summary

Mazak-Corporation is seeking an Expeditor to ensure smooth material flow on the shop floor, organizing parts for welding and helping with loading/unloading trucks using a forklift. You will verify parts before forwarding them to vendors and support fabrication with efficient material movement.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organization, and good communication. You will work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing

Job description

As the Expeditor, you will be essential in maintaining the flow of parts within the department. You will organize and sort material based off each machines needs to go to the next process. These parts will be kitted and organized for the welding department. You will assist in loading and unloading trucks with a forklift. You will transport material from different areas of the shop to assist with material flow. You will be responsible for checking what parts we send out to our vendors to ensure everything is there.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees

Education/Certification:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
