Job summary

Stark Aerospace Inc. in Mississippi is seeking a production/materials coordinator to monitor schedules, expedite supplies, and track deliveries to meet customer commitments.

You will work with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and manufacturing teams, review ERP reports, and support continuous improvement while maintaining aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good reading of work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and ensure work orders progress according to plan.
• Expedite materials, components, tools, and documentation for manufacturing operations.
• Track shortages, bottlenecks, and late deliveries and coordinate corrective actions.
• Communicate priorities to manufacturing teams to support customer delivery requirements.
• Review ERP/MRP system reports to identify jobs at risk of missing schedule commitments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Suppliers to expedite incoming materials and services.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure inspections are completed on schedule.
• Facilitate movement of parts between departments, work centers, and outside processing vendors.
• Participate in daily production meetings and provide status updates on critical jobs.
• Monitor inventory availability and assist in resolving material discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute production tracking reports and delivery status updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve manufacturing flow and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and company procedures.
• Escalate production issues to management when delivery commitments are at risk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements

Work environment
