Job summary

Barrick Gold Corporation in Elko, NV is seeking a Fourmile Expansion Superintendent—an experienced finance leader responsible for cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, and capital reporting for a major expansion project.

You will partner with site finance, engineering, procurement, and project controls to ensure governance, accurate data, and timely decision support for capital allocation and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, CIMA, MBA, PMP, AACE/CCP, or other recognized project controls certification preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience across capital controls, project controls, project finance, cost control, FP&A, capital accounting, mining finance, construction / project reporting, or major project evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience supporting major capital projects, expansions, mine development, construction, or capital-intensive operations preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred, ideally guiding small project-based cost or capital teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and capitalization reporting.
• Provide decision-grade analyses, variance explanations, and KPI tracking for project leadership and CFO audiences.
• Coach cost analysts and project accountants; maintain data integrity across ERP and project controls systems.
• Coordinate with controls, engineering, construction, and supply chain to ensure accurate cost-to-complete and forecast positioning.
