Job summary

Benevis is seeking an Expanded Services Dental Assistant to support procedures, prep, and patient care in our dental teams. The role involves assisting clinicians, taking x-rays where required, and maintaining operatory readiness in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in oral surgery, endodontics, or sedation dentistry, along with CPR-BLS certification. We offer competitive pay and benefits to join a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oral Surgery, Endo, Sedation Dentistry.
• X-ray certification preferred by state practices.
• CPR-BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors through processes before treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Ensure operational readiness of hygiene bay and operatory rooms.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix materials and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs, and rooms.
• Assist dental staff with treatment and document patient information.
