Job summary

Wonderful College Prep Academy (WCPA) in California’s Central Valley seeks an energetic Expanded Learning Coordinator to support after-school enrichment and wellness initiatives. Join a program that serves 2,400 students across Lost Hills and Delano and help plan activities, lead enrichment lessons, and ensure safe, engaging experiences for scholars.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in an expanded learning environment.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse students, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Reliable transportation and a valid CA driver’s license.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Expanded Learning Manager, Coordinator and Site Lead in developing, organizing, and implementing activities that promote the program’s mission.
• Plan and lead enrichments, physical education, and academics for groups of scholars.
• Record student attendance and submit daily to the Program Site Lead.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of scholars at all times.
• Coordinate structured play before, during and after school.
• Design and lead engaging enrichment lessons for kindergarten students.
