Job summary

Advantage Dental+ is hiring a Dental Assistant in Pace, FL. The role supports doctors and hygienists, handles charting, patient education, radiographs, and operatory setup. You will maintain patient files, sterilize equipment, and educate patients about oral health, contributing to an exceptional patient experience.

Qualified candidates hold EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certifications and are proficient with dental software and MS Office. A team-oriented, communicative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced dental assistant certification required.
• Proficient with dental software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling and patient experience

Primary responsibilities of our expanded function dental assistants

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up

• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories

Qualifications to join us as a dental assistant

• Advanced Dental Assistant Certification (EFDA, EDDA, EFODA)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software

Compensation Range

$24-27 hourly
