Job summary

Westerville Parkway Dental is seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in a full-time role.

The position features a 4-day work week (Mon–Thurs), 32–36 hours, with a pay rate of $40–$43 per hour and a full-time benefits package. Responsible for restorative placement, iTero scanning, Invisalign bonding, and charting in Open Dental.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an active EFDA.
• Licensure & Certifications: Ohio EFDA License, Ohio Dental Radiographer License, CPR/BLS Certification.
• Technical Skills: iTero scanning, Invisalign attachment bonding, Open Dental software.
• Soft Skills: Great communication, reliable, team-oriented, and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality restorative placement and standard EFDA duties.
• Utilize iTero digital scanning for impressions and case setups.
• Perform Invisalign attachment bonding efficiently and accurately.
• Navigate and document clinical notes within Open Dental software.
• Assist the doctor with procedures while keeping patients comfortable and informed.
• Maintain clinical compliance, sterilization procedures, and room turnaround.
