Aspen Dental in Milton, Florida is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for full-time employment. You will assist dentists, help maintain patient flow, and prepare operatory rooms for procedures.

You will perform radiographs, sterilization, charting, and patient education while ensuring OSHA/HIPAA compliance. State certification, radiology credential, CPR/BLS, and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license, registration, or certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during treatment procedures and manage operatory setup.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment per protocol.
• Maintain patient flow and document charting for doctors.
• Take dental radiographs and educate patients on post-care.
• Train others to perform handoffs and monitor workflow.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and maintain supplies.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
• Support coronal polishing or expanded functions as certified.
