Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant required.
• Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state.
• Demonstrate proper sterilization and infection control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the direction to DA office team throughout the day.
• Assist doctors during treatment procedures.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and provide patient care instructions.

Skills

Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry

Understanding of clear aligner process

Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene strategies

Strong communication skills

Education

Current Dental Assistant License

Radiology (x-ray) certification

Current CPR or BLS certificate

State Certification in expanded functions

Tools
