Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Indianapolis, IN, for a full-time role with a $28–$30 per hour pay range. You’ll work with the DA office team to keep patient flow efficient and support doctors during procedures.

The position requires a current dental assistant license or state certification, radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of chairside experience. Training, benefits, and CE are provided to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed dental assistant per state requirements.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain CE requirements and state expanded functions as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes and train staff on protocols.
• Set up trays and operatory for procedures.
• Support charting and patient handoffs during visits.
