We're growing! Come work with us at Premier Dental. We are seeking a motivated, dedicated, and compassionate Full-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. (Part-Time considered too!)

As an EFDA, you will work closely with our dentists and team members to provide exceptional dental care.

Schedule:

  • Monday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Requirements
  • EFDA Certification in Ohio
  • Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures
  • Ask about medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
  • Serve as infection control officer, develop protocols, sterilize instruments
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
  • Provide post-treatment oral care instructions
  • Teach oral hygiene strategies
  • Take impressions for study models
  • Communicate with patients and suppliers
  • Assist in all dental specialties as needed
  • Perform approved procedures like restorations, crowns, and space maintainers
  • Manage patient flow to maximize efficiency
