Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Arch City Dental Westerville

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during dental procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Take diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays), including FMX, using sensors.
  • Provide patients with oral care instructions post-treatment.
  • Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Valid EFDA certification in Ohio.
  • X-ray and CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience taking impressions and pouring models.
  • Skilled in Class IV and V anterior restorations.
  • Experience assisting with procedures like CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep.
  • Ability to set and break down operatories.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
